Prepare for your Garden Tour

Jurassic Garden Visitor Guide: Please read the guide prior to your visit to the Garden. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and assistance in keeping the garden in peak condition for the enjoyment of all visitors.

Drinking Water: We recommend that you bring a good supply of spring water when visiting the Island and make sure you have a full bottle of water with you for your visit to the Garden.

Sun protection: UV intensity is high here in Tasmania due to the thin ozone layer. Please make sure you protect yourself from harmful UV exposure while visiting the Garden (wide-brimmed hat and SPF 50+ sunscreen are recommended).

Footwear: Wear sturdy footwear when walking around the garden during all seasons. Areas around ponds can become swampy during Winter and gumboots are recommended when walking around those areas of the garden.
